Joanne Shofner is dedicated to representing the diverse needs and aspirations of all the counties in District 11. Her campaign focuses on key issues that resonate across Nacogdoches, Newton, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, and Shelby counties.
Securing the Texas Border: Joanne advocates for effective measures to ensure the safety and security of our communities. Joanne will increase border security funding and demand the Biden Administration reimburse Texas taxpayers for our costs to protect our southern border, which Biden has failed to do.
Safeguarding Our Children: Championing the future of our youngest citizens, focusing on their safety, well-being, and access to quality education is of utmost importance. Joanne will put an end to the sexualization of children through indoctrination in schools and strongarm big-tech and other predators from preying on innocent children. Joanne strongly believes that parents should have the right to send their kids to the school of their choice using their own taxpayer dollars. Joanne is 100% pro-life.
Protecting Texans: Ensuring the well-being of every resident in areas like Rusk and Panola, with policies aimed at reducing crime, enhancing community safety, and preventing the defunding of police. Joanne will protect the integrity of our elections by requiring felony prosecution of voter fraud and stand strong for the God-given right found in the 2nd Amendment. She aims to uphold the legitimacy of women’s sports and will protect medical freedom.
