East Texas water and land belong at the forefront of decisions that impact our region. Joanne will fight to protect our natural resources, rural communities, and the property East Texas families have cared for for generations.

• Fight to eliminate property taxes
• Protect Texans from being taxed out of their homes and land
• Demand responsible government spending

Texans should not have to continually pay the government for the privilege of keeping property they already own. Joanne will fight for a responsible path toward eliminating property taxes and keeping more money in the hands of Texas families.

• Fight rising costs for working families
• Keep East Texas affordable for future generations
• Oppose policies that unnecessarily increase the cost of living

East Texas should remain a place where families can afford to live, work, raise children, and retire. Joanne will fight policies that drive up everyday costs and threaten the affordability of our rural communities.

• Defend private property ownership
• Protect rural landowners from government overreach
• Ensure East Texans have a voice when development impacts their property

Joanne will stand with Texas property owners and fight government overreach that threatens the land, homes, farms, and livelihoods East Texans have worked hard to build.

• Strengthen career and technical education
• Expand opportunities in skilled trades and high-demand careers
• Prepare young Texans to build successful lives here at home

Joanne will fight to ensure young Texans have opportunities to succeed through strong schools, workforce training, skilled trades, higher education, and career pathways that prepare them for good-paying Texas jobs.

• Protect vulnerable Texans at every stage of life

Joanne is 100% pro-life and will continue fighting to protect the unborn while supporting Texas families, mothers, and children.

• Defend the U.S. and Texas Constitutions
• Ensure Texas law remains the law of the land
• Protect the constitutional rights of every Texan

Joanne will fight to ensure that no foreign legal system, including Sharia law, supersedes the U.S. Constitution, the Texas Constitution, or the rights and freedoms guaranteed to Texans.

• Support strong border security
• Stop illegal immigration
• Fight the flow of drugs and human trafficking into Texas

Joanne will continue supporting the resources necessary to secure the Texas border, enforce our laws, and protect Texas communities from the consequences of an unsecured border.

• Oppose efforts that infringe on Texans’ right to keep and bear arms
