Pam Johnson
Chief of Staff
With over 25 years of experience at the Texas Capitol, Pam brings a wealth of legislative expertise to the team. As a trusted advisor and former Chief of Staff to Rep. Mike Schofield, Pam’s leadership and deep knowledge of policy and constituent services will ensure that we deliver excellence every day.
Misty Nixon
District Director
A Nacogdoches native, Misty brings a strong background in public service, having worked with Senator Steve Ogden and Representative Wayne Christian. Her experience and passion for serving the people of East Texas make her an invaluable asset to our district.
Morgan Register
Legislative Director
Originally from Fort Worth, Morgan earned his BA from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently a third-year law student at Texas Tech University School of Law, graduating in May 2025. Morgan’s previous experience as a legislative intern for Rep. Mike Schofield during the 87th Legislative Session will be instrumental in supporting our work.
Sydney Shifflett
Intern
Sydney is a Criminal Justice major with a Pre-Law minor at Stephen F. Austin State University. Actively involved on campus, she serves on the Pre-Law Society Executive Board and is a proud member of Alpha Chi Omega. Sydney is eager to dive into the legislative process and learn how to better serve Texans.
